ABOUT US

The Tasmanian Disability Education Reform Lobby was established in Sept 2012 in order to give parents of students living with disability in Tasmanian schools a voice. Our aim is to ensure that all Tasmanian students living with disability have equal access to a quality education in Tasmania.

We advocate for structural change in the Tasmanian Educational System to ensure that students living with disability receive appropriate support. We believe that change comes one discussion at a time and it's time to fix a broken system.

The first step in determining what changes if any need to occur in the current system is to understand parents and students current experiences, as such the Tasmanian Disability Education Reform Lobby strives to provide Government and other stakeholders with real time data through its annual parent satisfaction surveys.
